The Barcode Generation SaaS is an easy-to-use, online, fault-tolerant, stateless RESTful API service hosted and managed by IDAutomation. It dynamically creates high-quality images that are streamed to an application. This service can easily create barcodes on-demand in any program that can access a URL in any operating system. Implementation in HTML is as easy as using the IMG tag. This service may also be used as a backup version of IDAutomation's streaming barcode products, including the Java Barcode Servlet or Streaming Barcode Server for IIS.

A Very Impressive Product

At JX Nippon Mining & Metals USA, automation is very important to our success and barcodes are an essential part of our automation. We have been using IDAutomation’s Dynamic Barcode Image Generator service for several years and have been very impressed with the product. The hosted barcode generation service allows us to easily insert barcodes on our web generated documents. Once we have these barcodes on the documents, we can better utilize technology to improve our efficiency and accuracy. Barcodes on web pages are a troublesome issue for web developers, as web developers have no control over the fonts that are installed on the user’s computer. As web developers, we find IDAutomation's service so valuable because it eliminates the need to install fonts on the user’s computer. The service creates the barcode as an image and then the barcode can be displayed using an image tag in HTML. The service is very simple to use, yet customizable based on the parameters that you provide.

This was my third purchase from IDAutomation. The best compliment I can give any product I buy, from anyone is that it performed as I expected it to and all promises were kept. Not always the case, but as it was with my previous two purchases from IDAutomation: ALL EXPECTATIONS WERE MET! What continues to surprise me, and what keeps me coming back is the customer services.
